Award-winning Carousel pattern, which in 1990 Caleca received the International Tabletop Award, a yellow pattern whose solarity and simplicity is liked by everyone and whose attractive, refined look is adaptable to any environment.Complementing a full range of Caleca's popular and award-winning Carousel dinnerware, these two pitchers are infinitely useful, whether for pouring cold milk, iced lemonade, or hot sauces, or for brightening a table by holding a bouquet of flowers. The larger pitcher holds five cups and stands six inches high, while the smaller one holds just under three cups and measures five inches high. Each glossy white pitcher features a broad swath of cheerful lemon yellow, through which runs a simple leaf design. Bands of blue, green, and pink highlight the yellow.
Made in Italy of chip-resistant ceramic, each Caleca dinnerware piece is hand-painted by skilled artisans with glazes that meet US standards by being free of lead and cadmium. The hand-painting results in visible brush strokes with variations in tone that afford a casual, comfortable look.
